Cavernous angioma and flying

by homesafairytale, Apr 08, 2008 06:01PM
I found out that I have one cavernous angioma on my right frontal lobe and that it bled last week. I am going on my hoenymoon in three weeks and we're flying. Am I going to drop dead on the plane or have a seizure? This is our only honeymoon and the bleed is very small.

Also wondering how long it takes these stupid things to crust over and stop bleeding?

I'm 26, just married, one child. Kind of killing the joy of marriage as the Dilantin has made me a raging, out controll, out of work, pimple-faced freak. My great attitude has turned really sour.

I'm having a really hard time with this and it's still a month 'till I can see someone about my noggin. I feel like I shouldn't do anything. I'm really angry that the ER doc gave me a super dose of Dilantin without telling me about the side effects or that I could have a seizure if I quit taking it. I had one seizure, I don't feel like I have a chronic condition.

This discussion is related to Cavernous angioma or Arteriovenous malformation.
