I am 30 and I was diagnosed with Celiacs at 3 years old. Not always followed a strict gluten-free diet, since I was quite a rebel as a teenager. In my late teens I developed headaches, more and more frequently, and "vertigoBenign positional vertigo Dizziness Vertigo Vertigo-associated disorders" attacks.
I checked my diet and got back to gluten-free and my symptoms stopped for 2 1/2 years but came back even though I am sure I'm gluten-free. I've had a headache now for 2 weeks non-stop, went to a Neurologist and got an MRI-A done yesterday. My bloodwork came with low monocyte count and very low Vitamin D levels.
I don't have the results of the MRI yet, but I am really anxious since my headache eases up but it does not go away, I have like a lightheadedness and I feel really "slow". Is it possible that I have brain calcifications? Would there be a somewhat positive prognosis for me? Any ideas?
