From the way you described your problems, it seems that your pain symptoms are indeed complex and may involve more than just the obvious lesions in your spine. Pain is a conglomeration of physical, emotional, and psychologicalChild neglect and psychological abuse aspects all playing together to alter perceptions of pain. The ruptured discs may really be the culprit in your symptoms and I agree with a neurologist consult for it. Your neurologist may be able to find more things contributing to the pain than just the spine problem. If your neurologist deems it necessary, he or she may refer you to a neurosurgeon for a surgical intervention.
I hope you will be rid of this pain soon. Regards and God bless.
