SpondylosisCervical spondylosis, age related deterioration of the spine, is characterised by the presence of osteophytes and spurs. A majority of people with these changes do not develop symptoms, some have symptoms and a minority develop disabilities as well. It is thought that the spurs cause the problems, but it is not certain why different people with similar findings on radiology develop varied clinical profiles.
