Can you recommend any neurologists in Montreal, Quebec who could diagnose and possibly treat Charcot Marie Tooth disease?

CMT is different for everyone.  It is a chronic slowly progressive disease.  Some people are effected by the disease enough to seek a diagnosis while others are not.  

I would say is is possible that you are seeing some disease progression however we can be effected by other things as well.  I would suggest a complete neuro work up by a neurologist who know CMT.

Hi! I was diagnosed with cmt when I was very young (like 8). My father had it and so did my uncles and grandma. I've never had too much trouble except the frequent tripping and spraining my ankle when I run/play sports. Also, I had to stop runnning in highschool beacause my feet would hurt so bad. Whenever I walk a lot (like hiking or a trip to NYC), my feet and calves burrrrrn. This has all been normal for me.
But recently, (I'm now 27) my feet and calves are hurting/burning almost daily, even when I've hardly done any walking at all. In addition, I've developed a slight tremor in my hands over the past few months and my hands get really tired really easily (it's hurting as I type this message on my iPhone). So, my question is: cod my rather sudden onset of pain and tremor be related to my cmt suddenly progressing or getting worse? I know it's a degenerative disease, does it get worse and worse throughout life? Thanks for any responses!

Request a consult to a teaching hospital.  You need to see a Neurologist that specializes in neuro/muscular conditions.
