Chronic foot burning and pain

Posted By Karen on September 22, 1998 at 20:16:47:

I am struggling with chronic burning and pain in my feet, mostly in the toes.  As I have written before, EMG tests, blood work, exrays, and physical exams show no cause.  It is worsening.  I have tried neurontin, which did not seem to work for me.  I am wondering whether my type A personality(being a perfectionist, overly-concerned about all details, and a major worrying person) might contribute to my problem.  There has been no pattern to my feeling fair or worse(I am never pain-free anymore)  Would my stress level have any connection with the pain level I am experiencing?  Thank you for any tips you might have.  I am a walker. This is cramping my style.  Lately, I am feeling not secure, or not sure-footed.  I wonder if my anxiety about all of this has gotten to me?  Thanks again!
