Collapsing, semi-conscious states and MS

Hi,

I've been experiencing many different neurological symptoms lately.  I've had a tremor since age 13 - I'm now 28.  About a year ago I started experiencing muscle twitches and a stiff left leg.  Then, I got a vertigo sensation and collapsed.  I was semi-conscious.  I went to the ER and they checked out the normal stuff, heart rate, etc.  All was fine.  My doc sent me to get a brain MRI.  They found "spots" all over my brain.  I then went to a neuro who did an exam and stated my reflexes were exaggerated.  She suspected MS.  Had an LP done with elevated IGG - all other proteins are fine.  Had a VEP - normal.  Went to a reputable MS Clinic in the area and they think I'm having TIAs (because the lesions are all over the brain - different sizes and different shapes - atypical of MS), but MS has not been completely ruled out.  Ordered an echocardiogram, C-Spine and T-Spine MRI.  All were fine.  3 weeks ago, my arm started jerking randomly - 5 times in 3 weeks.  2 days ago, I collapsed again - paramedics were called.  This time, I convulsed slightly on my right side (at least that is what I was told).  I was only semi-conscious. I went to my neuro the next day and was given anti-tremor, anti-seizure meds.  I have an EEG scheduled for Tuesday.  If that turns out normal, I have a follow-up brain mri this summer to see if the lesions have increased in size or quantity.  

My questions:  

Can MS cause all of these problems?  If not, what can?  It's very disconcerting to lose control of your own body and getting a diagnosis seems impossible!
