Colloid Cyst - Symptomatic?

I am a 43 yr old Female 4'11" tall and incidentally discovered an 11mm colloid cyst 5 years ago. A recent MRI showed no change and I was told that I am not symptomatic however Transcollossal Crainiotomy was recommended. I have digenerative disc disease in my neck, scoliosis and C2&C3 are naturally fused and as such I have muscle spasms, numbness & tingling in my back, shoulders and arms. I have been on prescription meds: Neurontin, Diclofenac, Noritryptiline, Flexerill, Advil PM and Arthritis Tylenol - daily. Recently I have stopped taking everything except the Advil & Tylenol.

Possible Symptoms:
    I do have occasional dizziness (1/2 times/week) where I have to hold on to something or pull the car over.
    Excruciating shooting pains from my forehead to the back of my head on both sides (although not at the same time) about 1 every 2 weeks. This pain is in a line (if that makes any sense) and lasts about 1 min.
    Headaches -- dull - midline to back of head (sometimes darts of pain)
    Migraines with 'floaters' (no excruciating headache though)
    Occaisional nausea (no apparent reason) however no vomiting
    Occaisional Head pain when coughing or bending
    Something is wrong with my eyes as I feel like they are being pushed on and I do notice light levels are different - however an opthamologist  said everything looked fine.

...can I be symptomatic but not show any Hydrocephalus on the MRI's.  Can the Hydrocephlus be intermittent - assuming the Colloid Cyst moves?  Could the Advil & Tyelonol be masking any serious symptoms...?  Are these symptoms attributable to the DDD?

What do you recommend as the next step?
