Trigeminal neuralgia. I also have a hx. of degenerative chgs. in c-spine. In 1987, had hemilaminectomy- c-5-6, with mediocre results. In 1995, MRI showed bulging disk at C-3-4, with mild

I wear a cervical collar prn, and take Robaxin, and duract. Could there be a relationship between the T.N. and the c-spine conditions? I have not had an MRI since 1995, and really do not understand the proposed surgery, risks vs. benefits. I am interested in your opinion, and comments regarding the surgery, what exactly it is, and if the T.N. may be associated with the neck condition. Thank you for your response..and added information.
