Constant Headache

by Sealya, Oct 18, 2007 10:08AM
About 3 days ago I woke up very dizzy and my head was hurting in the back.  Now the dizziness comes and goes along with a headache.  Why would this start haappening out of no where and what could it be?  I am not cisk at my stomach or anything and I am not pregnant...already been tested!  I am 27 years old.

Hi.

There are many conditions that could present with your symptoms.

Do you suffer from elevated blood pressure? Hypertension can lead to dizziness as well as nape pains. Other causes can be migraine headaches, or tension headaches. Nerve impingement can also pain at the back of the head. Your vestibular system should also be evaluated to rule out any vestibular disorder as the cause of your dizziness.

Consult a physician to have a proper assessment of your symptoms.

Good luck.
