Constant headaches, for almost 4 months.

I currently have a big headache and I have an ice pack on my head. I've been having headaches since June 18, 2006. It's not everyday, but ever since that date, I've been having them on and off. I used to think it was my vision...I went to the eye docor and she said nothing seemed abnormal about my eyes. I know eye doctors can detect brain tumors and she said she saw nothing. She did say that if they continue, I should see a regular doctor. Anyways, I wear glasses and I'm on the computer everyday. I'm thinking and hoping that it's maybe constant eye strain. I also feel like the muscles in my head are twitching and moving. Weird? I dunno. I get headaches all around my head too, and pains in my eye. I currently have a cold right now, and my headache started at night. My headaches are constant through the day - morning and evening...moreso evening. Please someone answer me and tell me what I should do...I've been having them for almost 4 months and I want the pain to stop. I carry Advil with me 24/7.  Am I overreacting? I have a friend who has constant headaches and I know nothing is wrong with her...and she carries Advil around with her too. Anyways, help!

I'm 19 and female - I take Vitamin C everyday and eat healthy and excersise...brain tumors and anuerysms are not part of my family's health history.

I am a teacher from the Bahamas and i too experience constant headaches. Well for one i wear glasses but only for reading , however , when i get too excited or emotional, or even bright light i get a headache. I been to a few doctors and i got precriptions. But they help temporarily. I am contemplating get a cat scan but is this relevant?

Your taking Advil all the time might be causing rebounds. You should see a neurologist to rule out any underlying disorders and also read a book called "Heal Your Headaches'. It has helped me tremendously.
