Oral cancer pain (spasm, stiffness) and feel that as my neck pain increases so do my headaches. What types of tests would show neck injury (I have had a cervical xrays of neck) and what types of meds could help the neck spasms? Do you think cervogenic headaches are related to age or accidents? If a person complained of these symptoms what types of treatments would you try?
Thanks Again!
Dear Julia:
It is difficult to recommend a proper treatment and clinical course
without having examined you. If you think that your symptoms might be
related to cervial problems (and they might very well be) then an MRI
of the cervical spine sould be obtained because it may show problems that
cannot be seen with a plain Xray of the neck.
I hope this helps!
Good Luck!
