Continued concerns about ALS

After progresively worsening symptoms (hoarseness, atrophy, weight loss, twitching, thick feeling around neck, fatigue), I am at a loss as to what this is.  I had a 4th EMG yesterday, with the neurologist saying, "Results are not bad....I expected signs of neuropathy."  He has ordered Botox injections in my neck and a referral to a larger facility.  I asked him if there is any need for me to worry about ALS, and he replied, "No.  This test is the standard and it showed no signs of it."  Are there other motor neuron diseases that match my symptoms?
