Continuous brow furrow = HEADACHE

Continuous brow furrow = HEADACHE

For the past few weeks, I have been furrowing my brow/tensing my forehead continuously throughout the day.  I cannot stop doing this and the result is that I have had a headache for the past three weeks.  It seems to start in the morning and get worse as the day progresses.  Is there any way to stop this tic, and thus these terrible headaches?  What is wrong with me?  I am not under stress right now, so I can't chalk it up to that...  Thanks for your help.

Thanks for your question.  It appears you are suffering the symptoms of
a "tension-type" headache, where the "tension" component is being generated
by the "furrowing" of your brow, which in turn is further increased/exacerbated
by the headache and so forth on and on.  It might be helpful, particularly
in such initial stages to try an over-the-counter analgesic to "break"
the cycle.
I hope this information is helpful.
