I can't find a lot of information about this disorder and hoping someone can enlighten me. I'll try to make a long story short. My 13 year old son just had an MRI today and results were normal except for left frontal lobe cortical dysplasia. He has never exhibited seizures to my knowledge. He does have extreme trouble sleeping. He has been diagnosed then undiagnosed with ADHD. Was told he had some behavioral/emotional issue. Has been in trouble with the law and lies constantly this year among many other behavioral things since he was 3 yrs old. Went in to doct for increased vomiting, stomach cramps and headaches. All bloodwork is normal. Only abnormality is the CD. Extremely creative, can draw like a professional, computer whiz, reads exceptionally well, bright student but does not do homework or stay organized which leads to failing grades. Was dyslexic until prek teachers worked with him. I guess my question is should we be worried about this because it seems most topics about CD have to do with seizures and I cannot find much on CD with only behavior issues. Help? Thanks.
