Cortical Dysplasia

My son was recently diagnosed with Cortical Dysplasia. I was wondering where I can find more information about this. I have checked at my local Library and had no luck. The internet doesn't really have much inforamtion I was wanting to know how many children has this. what other parts of the body does this affect? what are the long term affects? My son was a normal active four year old. there are no signs of delays it came on all of the sudden one day he was taking a nap and woke up and had a seizure.He has been put on Keepra for his seizures and so far no seizures. The last seizure was april 15th.
