Could this be MS

38 YO Male. All kinds of symptoms. Humming sound in right ear, Feeling of heat flash down the back of my neck and upper back. Pins and Needles sensation in hands, and bottoms of feet. Painful spasms mainly in legs, but does sometimes happen in sides of my trunk. Strange come and go twitches that feel like vibrations, these can happen anywhere but mainly in left arm, upper chest, lips, and butt. Lots of nausea, pain in neck from time to time. Dizzy a lot, extreme fatigue. And until I got used to it, extreme fear. Able to keep that in check now but still get emotional now and then if the attack is real bad. Sometimes vision gets blurry and even doubled at times but only in my left eye. Pressure in nose, forehead area. Any Ideas?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi!
I am sorry to hear about your medical problems.  The symptoms could be due to a number of conditions such as benign intracranial hypertension, high CSF formation, Chiari malformation, pinched nerves in neck, temporal arterits, high blood pressure, and transient ischemic attack.
The symptoms can also be due to MS, but less likely. Hoever, all the above mentioned causes should be looked into along with diabetes, thyroid issues, B12 deficiency and vitamin D deficiency.
Since a confirmed diagnosis cannot be given on net please consult your doctor regarding this. Hope this helps. Take care!

Hi Dr Mathur

I have hypertension that is controlled by Toprol XL, and my last A1C was a 5.8 . CBC showed only very slightly elevated white count, thyroid and B12 was fine. AMI Panel was fine, Lipid panel was fine. CT scan of my head without contrast showed a sinus infection which accounts for the pressure no evidence of a mass, ventricles are the right size, shape. Oh, my BP at my last exam was 100/67 but it averages at 120/75. My DR prescribed me an antibiotic for the infection, and Antivert for the dizziness.  My DR doubts that it is MS as well, however she can not explain why I still have the vibrations and spasms along with an elevated heart rate and BP when these attacks hit. She suggested I go to a Neurologist. Would a TIA show up on a CT?
