Coumadin and Child Development

Good morning and thank you in advance for any recommendations you can offer us.  I was on Coumadin for a year for problems caused from my daughters birth.  This was in 1983 and I conceived my second child  just following taking the coumadin (getting medical records to be sure).  My question is:  I have just learned from my drs. that coumadin can cause problems in development of my son if I was taking it when he was conceived. What testing can you provide us?  My son has always had learning problems that have been believed to be "a processing problem" the information just doesn't get through or "your child just doesn't get it"  He has been on ritalin - no real change.  I learned this information b/c I have an autoimmune problems DX with sclerosis and stenosis, ra, copd and more and we are trying to find out why.  My son also has joints swelling, turning red, he always has a red rash on his chest after a hot shower but then it goes away.  After I received the actual dates of taking coumadin then I know for certain, but I do know it was at least within a few months of conceiving my son.  Would this still have an effect.  Thank you so much for any recommendations you can give.
