Cyst on Pons and twitching

It was recently discovered that my vertigo (that I've had now for about 1.5 years) may be caused by a cyst (described as a spinal infarction on the radiology report) on my pons measuring about 6mm by 5mm, and lately I've noticed a huge increase in little twitches in my body, particularly my hands and legs. Could these be related and should I bring them up to my neurologist?

The twitching and vertigo together are particularly aggravated by high sugar content foods or caffeine.
