Hi.

Lightheadedness is a non-specific symptom and several of your conditions, as well as medications, could indeed cause it.

Hypertension, anxiety and panic attacks, and insomnia could theoretically present with lightheadedness. Your current medications such as alprazolam (Xanax), hydrochlorothiazide (Lisinopril), and clonidine have lightheadedness included in their side-effects profiles.

The electrical like currents could possibly be secondary to the "bad neck" and fused disks or vertebrae, as well as osteoarthritis, degenerative bone disease and fibromyalgia.

I understand that you may not be able to afford to go to a doctor, but the complexity and possible severity of your conditions would necessitate a consult with a physician, before they get worse.

If you suspect the drugs to be causing the lightheadedness, stopping them and resuming intake one at a time might give you a clue on what is causing the symptom. But I would highly advise you to consult a physician instead of doing this because stopping even one of these medications might be detrimental to your health, especially those needed for controlling your hypertension.

Good luck.
