Daily Chest Pains

Hi, I'm a 21 year old female with severe chest pains. I have had these pains almost daily since I was 15. No one to this date has been able to tell me what it is. The pain is severe and comes and goes all day long. There are no other symptoms. I've had some tests done EKG and stuff like that and it was normal. I just dont know why im getting these pains so often. Its been six years and they still hurt as bad as they did then. If any one could explain what this is, please let me know.

Before we can come to any conclusion about your chest pain, I would like to know something more about the chest pain.

How does the pain start ? Is there any particular trigger ?

Have you check your Hemoglobin levels ? Anemia is a very common cause of unexplained chest pains.

Do you have any stress issues in life which are ongoing ?

Hi.

About the pains, there usually isnt a trigger. I will just randomly get one that will last up to 5 minutes, go away and ten minutes later I will get an on going cluster that may last up to 1 or so. But they happen through out the entire day of and on with no visual trigger. I have heard that it could be stress but gone on for about 6 or 7 years now and I still havent come up with a solid grasp on what it could be.
