THIS IS MY MRI REPORT  KINDLY GUIDE ME THAT WHAT SHOULD I DO AS MY DOCTOR TOLD ME THAT THERE IS NO TREATMENT AND ONY EXCRISE IS THE BEST TREATMNT


Techinique:

Sagittal T1 W1. Axial  T2WI  and limbs.

Findings:
Preserved aligment of the cervical spine.
Degenerate disc deseases noted at C5 C6 and C6-C7 level manifeseted  as reduced highet and loss of the signal intnsity on TWI.
At C5- C6 Disc level, small posterior  central and left paracentral disc heritation causing identation on the ventral CSF space.
At the C6-C7 disc level mile diffuse poserior disc bulge.
Mild degenerative cervical spondylosis with smal anterior and posterior osteophyte formation.
Normal diminision of the spinal canal.
No alternation in the singal itnesity of the cervical spinal cord.
Maninted hight of the cervical vertebaral bodies and intact craniocervial junction.
COMMENT:
C5- C6 Degenrative disc disease,posterior central and lef paracentral small disc herination.
C6- C7 Degenrative disc disease and mild diffuse posterior disc bulge.

Hi there. You need to consult your MRI scan reports with an experienced neurosurgeon who will explain to you the various surgical options for disc herniation at C5-C6 and C6-C7 levels . discectomy, laminectomy, anterior cervical fusion and disc  replacement is also possible.
The risk and benefits of each needs to be discussed and whatever is possible that surgical option can be chosen from.
