Demyelintating symptoms?

There must be an answer...

(I'm 36 years old)

I have had 3 types of twitching for going on 3 years now, accompanied by leg tremor when I walk down stairs, mild muscle jerking, a feeling like my eyes are crossing (no way to know if they are as I lost my right eye to cancer in 2007) & brain "fog." I don't know what the clinical term for the twitches are but one is so faint that only I can feel it & it is all the time, in the arches of my feet & ankles. Another one is long term twitching that can last for hours, days or weeks & those can be felt/seen by my husband. The third is quick rippling type of twitches that seem to "run." The rippling kind can be seen/felt by my hubby & when they occur in my feet, cause my toes to curl while it's happening.

About 2 years ago I had a clean MRI and EMG but the nerve conduction showed sensori-motorpolyneuropathy. I also had a CPK # of 5,564. The doc felt that number was a misread? He sent me to a neuromuscular spec about 6 months later I had another EMG & nerve conduc but they were normal. She told me to "make peace with my body" & sent me on my way.

My symptoms have progressed to severe pain in my legs with walking more than 2 flights of stairs. Feels like when you do too many squats & pay for it the next day. Everthing else is the same with just an increase in twitching.

I went back to the neuro. & he said he didn't know what more we could do other than repeat the EMG & nerve cond study. I'm more than a little discouraged by his lack of even a hint of what this is.

Any ideas?
