Diagnosed with Periodic Limb Movement

I was diagnosed with Periodic Limb Movement after i did a sleep lab test at Gleneagles in Singapore. I tried ReQuip for a while but stopped as it didn't help much. Now about 3 years later, my sleep is slightly better but still very far from satisfactory, what can I do to get myself cured?
Also, is there a chance that my condition is wrongly diagnosed? I felt my legs jerk once in a while during daytime- none of the articles I read said that the jerks could occur during wakefulness. Is it really incurable? Can i do anything at all to become normal again?
I started having bad sleep after I had generalised anxiety disorder about 6 years ago although I only started recovering from the anxiety disorder 2 years ago. Is there a strong link between the two, does it help in my quest for a cure? Please, anyone who is qualified, help me to find more answers to my questions. I am really very frustrated by my poor sleep, anyone would after 6 years of bad sleep.

Click on "Forums" up at the top of this page, and then an alphabetized list will come up, so go along the left side to "S" and click on "Sleep Disorders."  Everybody who has restless legs and periodic limb movements posts over there.

I have severe 24/7 restless legs, which is they move at night, they move in the day, they hurt very badly all the time, my sleep is goofed up, and I will always have it.  There are other levels of severity, causes vary, and there are sometimes more effective treaments besides the one you were receiving.  I am treated fairly well for it, my suffering is more tolerable than the first six months I went undiagnosed and did not sleep that whole time.  I really lost it.  I've had it since 2003.  Some people have had it all their lives.  For some it waxes and wanes.  Then some people never get rid of it.
