Diffuse Cerebral Atrophy

Hi, my sister who is 46 has just been diagnosed with Diffuse Cerebral Atrophy, no focal lesion.  She had tremor in her hand for the last few years and finally had it looked at.  Does anyone out there know anything about this.  We are hoping that it will not get worst and just stay the same.  We have also noticed lately that she seems to fly off the handle quite easily lately.  We thought it had to do with hormones (menopause). Just wondering if this has to do with Cerebral Atrophy.
Would appreciate any info at all
Thanks
Lisa

Did you ever find an answer to your question about your sister?  I am 45 and have the same thing.  I know you posted 6 years ago, and i was just diagnosed with this last week.  If you can give me any info about anything you found out about this that would be great.  thanks very much
