Dignosed!! Attacks Mutiple Symptoms!

I have just been dignosed! After 5 months.
You were right - migraine variable.
Symptoms were: Tingling in arms and legs, tingling in parts of head and face, dizzy, ring in ears, feeling cold and shaking, blurred vision with floaters, pounding heart and shallow breathing, followed by extreme fatigue and headache. More than not, they came right before my period.
Lasting for 4-6 hours. Very scary!
Had mri with contrast ct scan, tests on heart, mri on spin and neck, eeg, ekg... you name it I had it!
All came back fine.
Cardiologist though I was getting these symptoms from drinking to much diet soda, he had experience with this.
Saw a new neorologist yesterday, he knew what it was right away.
He told me that the diet soda does not cause the migraine varible but triggers them and makes them worse. I have cut back alot and intend to quit.
He put me on Topamax and is planning to do an eeg on the brain to make sure it is nothing else.

hey that is good news mate..

my freind ha migraines and soda makes them worse theres aspartame in it that can cause it.. she stopepd soda and wham they not as frequent and as bad..
