Disc Disease Symptoms Changed Suddenly

I injured my kumbar discs in 2006.  L4/L5 are the worst.  I have had radiculopathy of the left leg and constant back pain since Oct 2006.  I received steroid injections every 3 months until Feb 09.  I take a number of medications.  On 2 Feb, I received the On-Q- ICE epidural.  It worked great for my leg and my back initially.  No back pain for 2 months unless I did something strenuous.  No leg pain until Jun and only when I would climb stairs.  However, at the end of June I began having terrible back pain and serious pain in the right hip.  But more importantly both my legs are in pain and extremely weak.  I cannot get up from the floor or from bending over without assistance and then with great pain in my legs.  This is all new.  In addition, I had a hysterectomy in May.  I attributed painful unination and bowel movements to recovering from that surgery.  Now I wonder if it is not from my back instead.  I don't have trouble urinating or moving my bowels in any way, it is just painful to do so.  I am not scheduled for another pain mgt appointment until the end of August.  I am I being paranoid or does this change signify something serious has changed in my condition?
