Dizziness and equilibrium problem

My wife fell 2x in the last 2 years and is now experiencing dizziness and equalibrium problems. It has progressed and we have tried all the treatments suggested. Spent xxx$ with no improvement. The doctors are at a loss and said there is nothing wrong with her. She cannot walk without assistance and her quality of life is poor.
We have tried alternative therapies, chiropractic, traditional medical and even herbal combinations.
There should be an answer out there. Anyone?????/

Has she been to an ENT doc yet?  As you probably already know the inner ear is usually a culprit of balance problems and vertigo and dizziness.  Has she had MRI's?  I am assuming by the sound of things she has had every test offered to man and so I feel stupid even suggesting it but.....just trying to help.  Does she have any memory or cognitive problems?  Could this be a side effect from a med?  I would see an ENT and Neurologist if you haven't already.  I hope she gets better soon.  Sorry, I couldn't be of more help.  If you have tried everything I am pretty much stumped.
