Dizzy and head fog

My 27 year old daughter had a bad tooth infection which destroyed some of her bone in the the gum  The periodontist replaced the bone with cadaver bone.  One week later she was driving and passed out at the wheel.  She since has had dizziness and head fog.  The General doctor ran the usaual test and said they could find nothing abnormal offered her xanax .  This was a year ago.  She is very frustrated because she was a very happy and out going young lady.  She has never went back to a doctor since then. She never took the medication and feels the doctor just dont know what is wrong.  Now she is starting to become depressed because she dont know what is wrong. Can this be caused from the infection or cadaver bone?

Thank you for responding.  My daughter had been on Cipro antibiotics.  The primary doctor did run blood test.  I am still convinced this is caused by the infection or the cadaver bone.  Since this all begin she has had a bladder infection for 2 months also other infections.  She still tells me she feels like her head is in a fog and the dizziness. I dont know where to turn should she go to Mayo clinic if so what kind of doctor should she see?

Why haven't you insisted she see a doctor!  Infections could cause this, and she isn't going to get well if this is the cause without antibiotics. Long term infections could damge multiple organs of her body. I recommed you get her a good bloodwork to test for infections, and a good general physical. If she didn't have a good feeling from the doctor she saw, get her to another one. This shouldn't be let go. Good luck, and let us know how she does.
