Dizzy with neck exercises

by eyewant2bbetter, Jun 27, 2008 12:15PM
I have a Chiari Malformation One.  I am in physical therapy and limited on neck exercises.  I just experienced dizziness with them along with tightness.  By the next day, I have a severve migraine and severe fatigue.
Is this all due to Chiari?  Thank you

Hi there.

These symptoms can indeed be due to the chiari malformation.  The rehabilitation physician or the physical therapist should be informed of these symptoms so that they can adjust the exercises and modulate the intensity.  In this manner, these symptoms can be avoided.
