In 1998-99, I had cortisone shot for a budged L4/L5. It helped; I wrestled in college with no pain or numbnessNumbness and tingling. Over the past 4 years, now I am 28, I have noticed neurological changes. I feel I have similar, but not severe symptoms of cauda equina. Maybe it’s some nerveNerve biopsy Nerve conduction velocity damage as well. I do have pain all over the sacral area, with increased surface temp of the skin. Some numbnessNumbness and tingling in my quads and buttocks when seated or laying in certain positions. Sometimes numbnessNumbness and tingling in the whole leg left leg. Occasional groinGroin lump Groin pain Groin stretch Jock itch Swollen lymph nodes in the groin/scrotum numbnessNumbness and tingling when seated too long and decreased slight sensitivity in the penis over time the years. No real sexual problems. Leakage after urination with frequent urges at night or day. These days, in standing positions, I feel discomfort in the low back area. I have had some injuries causing inflammation of the low back area since 2005, but nothing out of the ordinary. I do see a chiropractor 1-2 times a month. He also the same doctor I have seen since the injury in 1999. Is it possible that I have gradually developed Cauda Equina and if so, should I see a doctor of osteopathic medicine first to assess the L4/L5 area?
