Do dreams give you a concussion??

so i have have dreams where i have gotten beaten up and i wake up the next morning with bruises where i got hit in my dream. Is it at all possible to to get a concussion from being hit i the head in your dreams...silly question but its serious because i woke up and had concussion symtoms (symptoms) of a severe concussion and now i dont know if it is possible to actually get a concussion from a dream.

Thank you for your question. Sometimes, during dream one may remain active like in sleep walking and chewing. Therefore the possibility of trauma remains high since a person is not conscious. I would recommend arrange an appointment with a neurologist right away who will evaluate the further underlying disorders here that may be the main reasons of symptoms and can provide you an appropriate treatment here.
