Does 1st MS attack present billaterly and all over body?

40 year old female with no prior health problems living in NC. 7 Weeks ago started tingling in left fingers and hand which spread to right fingers and hand, two days of violent gastrointestinal symptoms (diarreah (diarrhea),shaking,no appetite)then tingling spread to right leg and foot and finally to left leg and foot. 3 weeks of night sweats.Lost 7 pounds in 4 weeks. Weird sesory symptoms such as "hot boiling water on right thigh" and super sensitive skin. Had to wear 2 pairs of socks so I wouldn't feel the floor, too painful. Leg heaviness,arm weakness, lots of hot and cold sensations on skin. Went to neuro, brain and spine MRI with contrast negative with  no lesions. Was put on Decadron for 5 days which made all symptoms worse, and hands now tremor on and off. Eyes feel "jittery" occasionally since Decadron. Had a LP and will get results in one weak. All blood labs normal except elevated Neutrophils, B-12 a low normal at 300. My question is:  with someone with no prior neuro symptoms, would MS present as such an all over spreading attack and in light of the gastro event does that sound like autonomic nerve involvement or possibly viral? I have not lost my balance, although with the sensory symptoms it felt "weird to walk" for a while. No L'hermites sign. Does this sound like MS to anyone? I am on LYRICA 75 mg three times a day which is helping to quiet down sensory symptoms. Tremoring hands are on again off again. Taking Xanax at night to sleep. This has been a harrowing experience.Any advice would be appreciated.

I having diff  weird symptoms too and i don;t know whats wrong.. Evoked potential tests, EEG etc.. and all normal , neutrophils lab wk done, ANCA (vasculitis tes done all normal. I am seeing an MS specialist soon, i asked my DR if this could be ALS and he said no  . The cannot find whats wrong  w me. But i am sure they will. Burning in legs feel like  they are on fire, and i am really sick and weak feeling, comes and goes. I am dealingw this w not alot of support from spouse and feel very alone. HOpe you can find whats wrong too, it seems to be a long process and DR;s don';t always know either. Makes sure you keep your records together and be persistent. Let us know more.
