I am F, 64 yrs. young, and I have been treated for Hep C, with Peg-Intron/Riba, Infergen/Riba, Pegasys/Riba. A total of 104 wks. I have responded and relapsed. I have acquired Cryoglobulemia anad Neuropathy. I am taking Rituxin treatments, trying to eliminate the cryo. The Neuropathy appears to change places, but goes totally numb, causing 16 falls.It appears in one leg for wks., then the other for wks, and sometimes both together. I am just noticing it in my shoulders, arms and right hand. Just aches and aches! Is their any reason that I cannot be given muscle relaxers, instead of pain meds? I am still having trouble after being off of interferons for 14 mths.I have the terrible mucous thing, night & day coughing up lots of phlegm? This is my 2nd. round of Rituxin and at times, I think, It mskes me feel better. My mouth stays xtremely dry, and have purchased a humidifier which helps. The coughing and clearing my throat several times a day, all day, appers to help some, but makes me uncomfortable in many cases.Where does all this mucous come from?

What is your opinon of this~ Platelets HIGH, ACHING and soreness.I am a IB,grade3, stage4, with bridging fibrosis, VL 3,000,000 at this time. I have never done drugs,been permiscous,or drank heavily. My biopsy shows that I have carried the Hep C for 30 + yrs. (transfusion). I have lived 5 yrs. of misery and have gotten no where. I am looking for opinions, Any & all. I have had every nerve conduction test available, 3 times, the only think left is a sural biopsy? I have been told that the Neuropathy could go away or worsen? what is your opinion?

Their has to be some relief for all of this, my quality of life has totally disappeared.
