Drug reaction

my wife has had a reaction to levaquin, from the family of floxin as profiled on dateline. It has been almost 3 months now and she still has not recovered. lingering symptoms are impaired motor skills, impaired speech and tremors returning without warning. Can you give us any advice on a couse of treatment to overcome these effects?                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Thankyou Greg  r

Wish I had some information for you Greg but I do not. I have never treated a patient thought to have neurologic problems related to the floxins nor has anyone I spoke with. The PDR lists a number of neurologic complications with this drug but most of them are limited. I suggest you contact the drug compan, (McNeil) and ask if they have had prolonged problems and can they refer you to anyone for treatment. Good luck
