EEG report

I had got my awake EEG done recently. The observation was "brief dysarrythmia was noted on two occassions in the left frontal region". The report was then viewed by a Psychiatrist who opined that the EEG was abnormal. It then went to the Neurologist who endorsed his remarks as a normal EEG report. Is something really amiss? What seemed abnormal to the Psychiatrist was endorsed as normal by the Neurologist. Is something wrong with me? Please advise.

In addition to the EEG, a MRI brain was also done. The MRI has been endorsed as a normal one. "Bilateral Concha Bullosa seen", has been written with other remarks which were quoted to be normal. Please advise if this has anything to do with my abnormal EEG. Thanks for your previous reply. Regards, Anne.

Hello.

Do you have any symptoms related to frontal lobe dysfunction, such as loss of planning ability, mood regulation, etc ?

It is possible that the doctors are not sure of the symptoms leading to any diagnosis. It is usually the clinical symptoms and examination that are necessary.

Regards
