EMG/muscle biopsy

I have muscles that cramp, twitch ,jerk etc. I also experiance a lot of numbness and tingling.  I've had three EEG's they show wide spread fasiculations believed to be benign. I'm a very high strung person especially when it comes to needles. I was just told if I'm not relaxed an EMG may not provide accurate results. Is this true? If so what can I do to "have it be more accurate? Also, I just got the results from a muscle biopsy. "The pathological findings suggest a moderatly severe chronic neurogenic disorder. These include small groups of very atrophic fibers and fiber type grouping. Some of the fibers include include a single lesion within the sarcoplasm. These structures resemble central cores but they more closely resembletarget fibers and targetoid fibers such as short length. There is strong peripheral staining but they do not show the pattern of a primary mitochondrial disorder. Some of the mitro rich fibersshow a central zonewith no enzyme activity. This corresponds with target fibers. My primary is a rheumatologist and unfamiliar with target and targetoid fibers. What are they? What if any symptoms might they cause? What conditions, disease, etc might cause these abnormalities? would it be prudent to get another opinion? If so how? where? with who?
