With this amount of testing, and it all being
normalNormal saline flush, a dioagnosis of ALS cannot be made. As long as all symptomatic areas were examined it should be sufficient at this time. However, ALS is a diagnosis established based on a clinical history, examination, and testing. Without reviewing your case I cannot make an accurate clinical diagnosis. If you have concerns a second opinion is always reasonable. Good luck.
A emg does determine whether you have a problem with nerves, if abnormal and you have classic signs of als, a als dxed will be given.
You should be very thankful your emg was clean.
good luck.
