EPILEPSY

Respected Sir,
My sister, who is 32 year old and mother of two daughters, is suffering from Epilepsy since 6 years.
She weighs 45 Kg and 5’2” tall. She has 2 daughters 4 yrs and 6 months old respectively. Both the deliveries
were normal.
She is on continuing medication since last 3 years and inspite that she had around 6 rounds of Epilepsy.
I am sorry I don’t know what the names of medicines are, she is taking.
Sir, I would like to ask some questions:-

   1. Is this disease is fully curable?
   2. If Yes then how long does it take to bring the patient normal?
   3. If NO then are there any possiblities of reducing the rounds of Epilepsy?
   4. What will be the total cost for the whole treatment?

And when you will get the reply, just do the things according to their instructions.
Forward me their response.

Epilepsy is generally regarded as not curable, although some academic centers do report success with stereotactic surgery in cases where traditional therapy has failed.  Epilepsy, however, can be controlled, most commonly by antiepileptic medications.

The possibility of reducing seizure attacks would ultimately depend on how efficacious the antiepileptic drug is for your sister.  The cost of treatment would also be dependent on what drug and at what dose it would be administered.
