I had a EMG last year that show slight entrapment and slight (Carpal Tunnel Syndrome) CTS and
something going on in the C6 C7 region which lead me to the NS.
He did an MRI and showed bulges 5,6 7 a few bone spurs and some moderate stenosis around C6.
He sent me to Pain Management and we tried the series of ESI injections in the neck (disc and facet)
but did not get any relief.
The Pain Management doctor started talking about a spinal cord stimulator, I got nervious, very nervious as the DVD showed only post op people with lumbar problem so I called my
NS back and he then ordered the CT-SCAN. My NS is now sending me to another doctor that specilaize in rehab.
They are doctors that work with spinal cord injuries (Phyo....) I do not recall the exact name of their practice.
My NS thinks that I might have CTS and unlar nerve problems.
Do they have steriod injections for CTS and ulnar nerve problems or is it just PT and then surgery.
This has been going on for about 15 months now. (You know how that goes, ever time you need an apointment,
you are busy that day and have to wait another week or two, time flies but the pain continues.)
