Elavil Withdrawal

My husband has been on elavil for approx 30 days (10 mg) for migraines, he skipped 1 day & became VERY ill at work - they thought he was having a massive heart attack! Vomiting, irregular heartbeat, unconsiousness. They took him to medical, ran EKG & ruled out heart attack. He immediately discontinued Elavil.
2 days after this incident he's having projectile vomiting, dizziness, balance problems.
Its been 4 days since his last dosage. How long will he have symptoms? Should he seek medical treatment?
