Electrical Shock

Electrical Shock

I had a bad electrical shock 2-3 years ago, which gave me numbness in left arm and lower leg and slightly on left side of face.  I also was left with a burn from the electrical injury.  Most of the symptoms from that incident had disappeared, except some slight problem with arm and leg when I am ill. - Recently I got an electrical shock from a wall switch, (might not have been grounded) and I was using the same hand as the original injury.  Strangely enough, I got the same symptoms as the original injury.  I am confused.  It was only a light switch which doesnt really have that kind of current to cause those symptoms.  Could it be that the original nerve injury is the culprit for these extensive symptoms..or could it be that it was more of a shock than I thought?  Please let me know what you think ..how long till it goes away..and possibly what supplements would be good for nerve injury. Thanks in advance for your help!

Dear Debby,
It sounds like you simply have exacerbated what damage was done with the original shock a few years ago.  There is nothing to do in particular at this time for the shock and the recovery time can be variable.  Our best advice would be to try to be more careful around electrical outlets!
Good luck.
