Electrical impulses

I am a 60 yr old woman who has what feels like electrical impulses going off in my head. I can even feel them in my teeth. I have had no head injuries. I do have a plate in my neck (neck fusion). What could cause something like this ?  I flinch every time it happens and get a little dizzy.

Hi, since when are you having these symptoms and when was the neck fusion done, may be due to complication of surgery also but better to seek advise of neurologist and also a dentist to rule out any possibility from their end. Please keep updating.
Take care.

Hi Daisy,
How are you feeling?
I think your symptoms are due to some nerve dysfunction. This nerve dysfunction can be due to nerve compression or nerve impingement at cervical level.
Your fusion surgery could be one of the causes for your symptoms.
I think you should be checking it out with an orthopaedician for further evaluation.
You should be getting yourself an imaging study to see for any pathology which exists there.
Keep me informed if you have any queries.
Bye.
