Epilepsy & Chiari Malformation

Hi, I was diagnosed with Epilepsy 2 years ago and I'm treated with 300mg of Zonegran which seems to work fine. At that time, my Neurologist thought it would be good to go ahead and get a CT and MRI of the Brain, as well as my neck because I had been having excruciating pain there for quite sometime. Both MRI of the Brain/Neck were abnormal. Found out I have Chiari, DDD, and Spinal Stenosis. I was put on an anti-inflammatory to reduce inflammation in the neck. This helped. The medicine was stopped. However, shortly after stopping the pain was back! Been back and forth on the medicine now for 2 years. Had a new MRI done here about a week ago of the brain/neck. Awaiting results. Chiari showed 8mm herniation back then. Would it be presumptuous to assume the Chiari/DDD/Spinal Stenosis are in relation to one another by some chance?
