Epilepsy Surgery for Extratemporal Dysplasia
Posted By Victoria Goren on February 03, 1998 at 22:36:29:

My 32 year old relative has had intractable seizures for the past four years. In the past, she
also had suffered from prepuberty febrile convulsions. Testing and scanning to date
indicate occipital temporal dysplasia. Being on Felbamate for about six months caused no
reduction in frequency of about one seizure per week. What is CCFs experience with
extratemporal surgery, what is involved and what are the outcomes? I would greatly
appreciate your response.
