Epilepsy and immune system

Hi,  I have a question and seeing if there are some knowledgable folks that can provide an answer.  If you have severe epilepsy and take medication, do you go in regularly for blood test to check on the white blood cells?

Hello.

Yes, you do check your white blood cell count regularly along with the medication level in the blood. There are some anti-epileptic medication which can reduce white cell count.

Which medicines are you taking ? Are they of any help ?

Regards
