Epilepsy and migrains & mirror imaging

Epilepsy and migrains & mirror imaging

Does "Mirror Imaging" have anything to do with Epilepsy? My son is now 25 years old and had Petite Mal Siezures when he was a toddler. He outgrew this at around age 5, but he has suffered from severe migrains ever since and still has the mirror imaging with his hands. Since epilepsy is a brain thing can these two afflictions be related to it. How can he find out? Will the epilspsy come back later in life as Grand Mal? Epilepsy does run in my mother's side of the family.
