Evoked Potentials and MRI results.

Posted By STHEPEN on January 02, 1999 at 00:48:11:

I'm a 25 yrs male and I visited a Neurologist due to regular headaches.  The doctor told me that I possible had Migranes (migraines) and prescribes Depakote 250m twice daily and ESGIC plus.
The question is, the VEP, and the other one ( I can't remember the test name, It's the ear's one) evoked potentials test results are too low.
The doctor recomends an MRI in order to study a dimelianating process ( I mean, related to MS).  The neuroradiologist see it a normal one and don't see evidence of demilianating process.
But, my neurologist  show me in the MRI three small points called UBO's and told me that I have a 10 percent for  develop MS in the future.
Please, I want to know your recomendation and knowledge about the evoked potentials and the UBO's.   Do you recomend a second evoked potential study?    A second neurologist opinion?
Thanks, and excuse my poor english.
