I think we need to know what your condition is?  Tell us what condition you are referring to, so we can advise you better.  Foods that will help you gain strength and give you energy are proteins (like eggs, hamburgers, seafood, beans) and eat those with a carbohydrate like toast, cereal, spagetti.  If you have been sick for a while, drink stuff like V-8 and milk, to restore your electrolytes and vegie nutrients.

Hey King,
Thanks for the feedback.  Yoga as exercise is supposed to help people with MG, just don't overdo it.  You can take a class in it and learn the movements.  But if you exercise too much in general, your MG might flare.  After activity, you must give your muscles time to rest.  Supposedly asparagus contains steroid-like properties that can strengthen muscles.  Also, dark green vegies are good, like spinach, and so are bran and whole grains, because they all have magnesium in them, which lack thereof can weaken muscles.  One thing I forgot to mention in my last post, which that advice still stands, is low-fat milk is a good protein.

Avoid tomatoes, white potatoes (I only eat red potatoes), peppers and eggplant because they have a nutrient in them that can interfere with the neurotransmitter acetylcholine, which lacking that is the very thing that is partly responsible for MG. I had said in a previous post to eat eggs, but apparently the fat in those is considered a no-no, so you can eat them but just don't eat them every day.

Supposedly an herb that helps MG is comfrey, you can get a tea of that at the store.  Also, a mutivitamin and mineral supplement taken a few times a week will help the nerves and muscles function better, some brands are better than others, so if any of them cause any trouble with for example digestion, switch kinds.
