Extreme stress over Symptoms

I am from the Uk and over the past 2 mnths I have been experiencing weird symptoms.  It first started as a slight prickly feeling in left hand and foot on off, then my left foot buzzed on off, more as I lifted my leg!  Went to ER and was told to go see a Neurologist.  After researching what one was I began to panic that maybe it was MS as I have always had since I was 22 (now 26) constant need to urinate so put this down as "bladder problems".  It has all gone down hill since, I now get crawley feelings all over along with on off buzzy/tingly sensations mainly in hands, legs and feet.  I also have muscle twitching all over but mainly in legs.  I have no weakness, have passed an eye exam with flying colours and seen one neurologist already that said there was nothing to worry about.

My quesion is:-

Could this be anixity/Stress?  Or something serious like MS?

Can't get the email address off this site.  :-(

The tickly privates sounds great lol!! Nah I'm sure that feels very strange!

Sorry to keep bugging you,  do you think for me it could be anxiety?

Your symptoms sound like that type of migraine you get where even with or without the headache you get tingling down your body.  Also I have seen that the muscle twitching can be caused by stress and if we're both stressing about what's wrong all the time then it's not a surprise we are geeting them symptoms.  The back pain you get could also be stress, that said my mate suffers from migraines and she too gets back pain.

Thanks Donna,

I know what you mean about the docs!! I think they'll send me to a padded cell if I don't stop this, them and my family!  I'm driving everyone mad.

I saw your post, I too am obviously sick with worry and I'm not eating or sleeping properly.

Glad your MRI's were neg, that is a good sign.  Did the Neuro think it might have been MS?  What feed back did you get off him?

I'm tingling now and it's driving me mad, like you said it's tickly!

I'm unfortunately not on MSN and only have a work email address.

hi scanny well i went private to have my wisdom teeth out and my consultant wasnt happy qwith the type of headaches i was having.. so he reffered me to a neuro privatly my health insurance wouldnt cover it so i ened up paying about 1 k alltogether to see him twice and get an mri of my neck and head done.. couldnt afford mri for my back wish i did now..

when i was going back and for to the docs for headaches one doc said to me it was all in my head and refered me for counciling cheek of it!! i went though cus i was anxious.. but now has put me off going back to the docs for anything.. and this tingling is really doing my head in!!

try going to a chrio about £40-50 to see them first and they take your history etc and can refer you to someone if needed...

and if you wanna chat with me i am on msn if you want to..

Hi Donna!

I was told that it could be anixity and was given medication but was really worried about taking them so didn't.  I am on the pill and also nose drops for a blocked nose but that's it. I am always worried about something and always stressing about something so I really hope it is just stress catching up with me.  I think my docs think I'm crazy.

I was wondering how long it took for you to get an MRI?  Did you go private?
